One of the UK’s leading telematics companies has been confirmed as a sponsor of this year’s Wales Transport Awards.
Plant-i, who are headquartered in Machynlleth, will sponsor the Fleet of the Year category, which recognises the best fleets operated by transport companies in Wales.
Sam Browne, Chief Executive of Plant-I, said: “We are very excited about supporting this year’s Wales Transport Awards and can’t wait to see all of the entries in the Fleet of the Year category.
“Fleet operators in Wales are so important; they are key to any supply chain and provide vital investments and jobs. As a Welsh company we want to support more of these businesses by giving them the technology and support they need to improve vehicle and driver efficiencies and reduce their costs. Our support of the Wales Transport Awards is important to us achieving this goal and we are looking forward to meeting all of the finalists in October
Liz Brookes, co-founder of the Wales Transport Awards, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Plant-I on board as one of our awards sponsors. They are a nationally recognised company that support hundreds of businesses throughout Europe and their support of the event therefore underlines its importance to the transport sector in Wales. We’re looking forward to working with them in the lead-up to the awards later this year.”
